Welcome to the Peak Crossing Public Hall website. At the top of this page, you will find the links needed to access the information contained on this website. Below is a small snippet of the Hall’s history.

Peak Crossing is a rural community of about 1,800 people located halfway between Ipswich and Boonah. It is fifteen minutes from Ipswich and forty minutes from Brisbane.
The Peak Crossing Public Hall opened in 1926 and has seen many changes, and if it could talk it would be able to tell of the many memories and stories that were created in the Hall over the years by those who have attended community dances and events, celebrated each stage of life including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, wakes, and family reunions.
The building has not only increased in size since 1926 and has been well maintained, but it has also had many additional features added that make the Hall such a great venue to hire, including: full air conditioning, projector and large pull-down screen, a TV screen, speakers, microphone, wi-fi and fully equipped kitchen and bar areas. This has all been achieved through the hard work of many community volunteers over the years who have kindly given up their time to give back to the community through the development and management of the Hall.
The Peak Crossing Public Hall Association Inc currently manage and maintain the Hall and is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on members of the community to volunteer on the Management Committee and/or as general volunteers who provide support for events, and upkeep tasks including cleaning and mowing. It is because of these wonderful volunteers that the Hall is here for all the community to use.
The Hall is available for hire through an hourly, half day or full day hire agreement. Information can be found in the Hall Hire Documents link at the top of this page.
